… the Society’s flag. It bears three green bands divided by two yellow lines and is bordered entirely by a red border, with the letters S.S.R.C. in the center.
Founded on August 26, 1904, the club has several sections: hockey, cricket, equestrian, rugby, polo, golf, athletics… Its football team was the first Gipuzkoan club to participate in the Spanish Championship —the current Cup— in 1905.
It wears a green and yellow uniform, colors that Real Sociedad would reuse on one of its away kits during the 2007–08 and 2008–09 seasons. On May 20, 1905, its players split to form San Sebastián Foot–Ball Club.
Since its founding, the club has focused on lawn–tennis. In 1919 it was reorganized and refounded as the Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián.
